Rex Hamilton
Raised in Maryland and currently based in Chicago, Rex Hamilton discovered fly fishing as a young adult and was immediately drawn to its mix of simplicity and challenge. Over the years, he’s come to believe that the most effective fishing — and the most meaningful experiences — come from keeping things straightforward and intentional.
Fly fishing has given Rex far more than just fish to chase. It’s taught him to slow down, observe, and appreciate the details that make every day on the water different.
Through Wooly Buggin’, he shares that mindset with others — breaking down the sport in a way that’s easy to understand, approachable for beginners, and grounded in the joy of doing more with less.
